Jennifer Olsen JJ Assistants
Jennifer Olsen (Owner, Instructor, Choreographer, Producer)
Possesses twenty eight years of dance experience. This experience consists of all different genres in the dance industry. Ballroom, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, broadway, and tap to name a few.
Jennifer is an accomplished dancer as well as a choreographer/producer. She has danced professionally at the American Music Theatre, Fulton Opera House, and for Chez-Zam Entertainment in New York City. Olsen has taught dance in Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, and Virginia. She holds awards in virtually all forms of dance with her most recent including twelve first place awards in professional ballroom competitions.
She also stays current by receiving training yearly from world renown instructors such as Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Chris Jud, and Wade Robson to name a few.
Jennifer S. (JJ)
JJ, a dancer, singer, actor, and master instructor, started dancing at a young age and began her professional dance career in 1991. She has over 11 years of professional dance experience which consisted of her being in Ziegfield Follies, Sesame Street Live, and American Music Theatre to name a few. Her resume is quite extensive in the theatre as well as ballet. She has been apart of the central PA youth ballet company (Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Nutcracker.) Cabaret, West Side Story, 42nd Street, Chorus Line, and Phantom of the Opera are just a couple of the shows that JJ has left her creative mark on.
In her own words, “My objective is first and foremost to educate students in technical dance skills so they will know how to execute each step correctly and mature as a dancer.” “I have been enjoying teaching for the last several years. Last year was my first season at Pulse and I look forward to returning for another season.”

We would like to introduce you to our assistant teachers: Kate H., Nicole B., Kassidy G., and Kristen A. These very talented dancers are a part of our Senior Company here at Pulse and are looking forward to sharing their dance knowledge with you. We are very excited to have them on board with us!
