Miss Macy

Macy Poore began dancing at the age of three, and has not stopped since. She has danced at 6 studios all over the country, expanding and developing her technique in ballet, tap, jazz, dance theater, lyrical, and pointe. She just moved to the Lancaster area from the Philadelphia area and is ready for her new chapter at Pulse Dance Studio! Macy is a Kindergarten teacher by day, dance teacher by night, and a shopaholic on the weekends. Her favorite dancing memory is getting the chance to dance on television in the annual Christmas Day parade in Walt Disney World in 2010. She has taken many master classes to expand her repertoire and passion including Roni Mahler, Rhee Gold, Tiffany Henderson, and several former Rockettes. Miss Macy started her dance teaching career in 2008, eager to share what she loves with other students. She is continually searching for ways to gain professional development, and always attends UDMA, a dance teacher exposition, outside of New York City. She graduated in 2015 at the University of Valley Forge, with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Business. During college, she was the dance captain for 2 and a half years. The dance studio is her home away from home, so Pulse Dance Studio is exactly where she wants to be! She loves to see children find their passion for dance and watch them grow into amazing people!
